In this session, we'll delve into the world of instructional design, reimagined as an adventuring guild. Learners take on the role of adventurers on a quest for knowledge and growth. Our quest, as instructional designers, is to create an inclusive learning environment that honors the diverse strengths and challenges of neurodivergent adventurers.We'll explore how effective collaboration and inquiry between SMEs (Dungeon Masters) and instructional designers (players) can lead to the crafting of learning adventures that cater to all character classes and abilities. Our aim is to provide practical insights for designing quests (learning experiences) that ensure every adventurer's unique traits enhance the overall success of the guild's quest for knowledge and growth.
