In L&D, we want to make learning fun. But how do we do that without losing what’s most essential—learning? Learning games must not only be entertaining, but they also need to effect change.Interactive stories are a powerful tool for changing people’s attitudes and behaviors. But done poorly, they can distract learners and undermine the learning experience.Using an example game, this session will demonstrate common pitfalls in story-based learning game design and provide tips for avoiding them.
