The Value of Being Valued

Providing consistent feedback, sometimes called "regard" for work done, is not intuitive to all managers or coworkers, but it can be learned.

"Constructive feedback" from managers helps you grow, feel respected, and valued. It gives you courage in the workplace and a sense of emotional safety and partnership with your manager, co-worker, and possibly your team.

It is a micro-skill and a powerful teaching and learning tool.
