Why build TLDCampus?
- It is clear that content can build a community, but it's connection that nurtures community. TLDCampus can serve as a resource for building connections.
- Since many of us are working from home, the opportunity for informal chats with coworkers are gone. Ideally, TLDCampus is a place to pop in, say hi, take a break and meet someone new.
What are the use cases for TLDCampus?
- Central to TLDCampus will be occasional hosted broadcasts showcasing knowledge shares
- The lounge area features eight tables that can seat up to eight guests at a time. These tables are open for use for any TLDC Member to invite other Members to meet via video chat. You can have a working session, a lunch social, whatever you want.
- If you'd like to host a session to be shared to up to 1000 other TLDC Members, let me (luis@thetldc.com) know and I can set that up for you.
- Sometimes you might just want to socialize or talk shop with someone else in L&D. Hopefully TLDCampus can be a place for you to do that.
If you have any ideas of your own that you think might make TLDCampus more useful, send a message. The possibilities for TLDCampus are endless --- take the opportunity to participate!
